What do I need to enter?
Depending on your individual circumstances, you may be eligible for government funding. To find out what level of funding you are eligible for, you will need to complete an assessment through the Government’s Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). Bethanie can help you arrange a free referral or you can register with My Aged Care (www.MyAgedCare.gov.au).
We also require a Bethanie Application Form be completed. This provides us with the information we need to progress your entry.
Are there waitlists?
Each home has a wait list and residents are admitted based on a variety of factors including their needs and the capabilities of the home at that time.
What can I bring with me?
For comfortable living, each room comes equipped with a bed, bedside chair and cabinets for you to store your clothing and belongings in. To help you personalise your room and make you feel comfortable, you are welcome to bring in your own personal items. For example photos, ornaments and blankets. Larger items are welcome as long as they do not present a safety issue. This can be discussed prior to arriving.
