Have you ever considered volunteering? Do you want to help in the community for a good cause? Bethanie is looking for enthusiastic individuals to volunteer and make a positive impact in the lives of our residents and customers.
As a volunteer, you become part of the Bethanie family. As a volunteer you will benefit personally by meeting new people and making new friends, learning new skills and feeling part of a vibrant community.
Visit screening role: Volunteers needed to screen visitors at our Aged Care Homes across the state. Many volunteers have put their hand up, including Mick Banting (pictured below) who volunteers at Bethanie Kingsley on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers needed during visitors’ hours (9.30-11.30am (and/or 1.30-4.30pm).
Joondanna Aged Care Home: Joondanna Aged Care Home is seeking volunteers to assist therapy staff to provide a variety of activities ranging from: wheelchair walks, one-to-one companionship, garden café support and assistance with cognitive activities.

Please let your site supervisor or Laurette.LeCras@bethanie.com.au know if you’d like to return as we will just need to make sure we have a copy of your 2020 flu vaccination record and that you have completed our Hand Hygiene and Infection Control training prior to recommencing.
