The Western Australian Government is introducing changes to retirement village laws designed to strengthen consumer protections, improve transparency, and support greater resident involvement in village life.

The reforms will be introduced in stages over the coming years. As implementation progresses, we will continue reviewing the changes and working through what they mean for our villages, residents and prospective residents.

Our priority is to ensure residents receive clear, timely information throughout the implementation. As changes are introduced, we will explain what they mean, when they will take effect and whether any action is required.
