Bethanie run a range of Allied health services to support you or your loved one within all Aged Care Homes. These include a wide range of services that include, but are not limited to:

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists work from a person-centred perspective to help people participate in the day-to-day activities they find meaningful.  Occupational therapists work with people to understand their goals, any limitations on the activities they want to do, and help them to increase or maintain their independence, participation, and well-being.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists help you get the most out of life as they provide treatments or recommendations to increase mobility, prevent falls, manage pain, support dementia care, and reduce incontinence. They will tailor a care plan, often in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, to the individual resident’s goals and needs to enhance quality of life and independence.

Dietetics

Dietetics

Dietitians are specialised in medical nutrition therapy and understand the nutrition and hydration requirements of older adults, developing individualised dietary care plans as required. They also work collaboratively with chef managers to review the menu and ensure it is balanced and nutritionally adequate.

Speech Pathology

Speech Pathology

Speech Pathologists work with the resident to assess their swallowing abilities and provide treatment or recommendations to ensure residents are able to enjoy their food, eat and drink safely and remain hydrated.

Podiatry

Podiatry

Podiatrists will ensure all routine footcare is taken care of, provide footwear recommendations and treatment of common foot ailments.
