How to apply

Navigating the aged care journey can feel daunting, and we're here to help you feel supported every step of the way. Whether you're planning for yourself or helping a loved one, this guide will walk you through the process - from understanding eligibility to accessing the right care. Our aim is to make things clearer, so you can make informed and confident decisions about the future.

Before you can access government-funded aged care services, you'll need an assessment to determine your eligibility. Bethanie can help you arrange a free referral, or you can register directly with My Aged Care .
 
After your assessment, you'll receive a support plan outlining the services you're approved to receive, giving you a clear starting point to plan your care.

If you have questions, want to understand your options, or would like to book a tour of one of our homes, our Aged Care Navigation Specialists are here to help.

Once completed simply email it to acns@bethanie.com.au  or post it to: PO Box 143, Northbridge, WA 6865.

Once our Aged Care Navigation Specialists receive your application, we'll work with you to find a room that suits both your care needs and your budget. If you haven't already been on a tour, we'd be happy to arrange one. It's a great opportunity to visit the home, meet our friendly team, and have all your questions answered in person. 

When you've found the right place and feel confident in your choice, we'll send you a room offer letter for your new home. From there, our team will guide you through the next steps, including completing your Residential Agreement and setting a date to move in.  You're welcome to involve a family member or nominated support person at any stage. And we will be with you to make the process as smooth and reassuring as possible.

You're now ready to move into your new home. Our Customer Engagement Nurse and the management team at your chosen home will walk you through everything, from what to bring to how you choose to spend your day.

We'll be here to support you every step of the way, so you always feel informed, prepared, and welcomed.
