Bethanie is proud to announce our win at the Work Health and Safety Excellence Awards
2025 for ‘Best intervention to address a psychosocial hazard in the workplace’.

The award recognises our practical, cost-effective, people-first approach to creating safer, more supportive workplaces.
Our winning project, ‘Reducing workplace violence and aggression in aged care through environmental redesign’, began with an innovative idea from the Bethanie Fields team. Their ingenuity and commitment brought the concept to life and has since been adopted as an organisation-wide strategy to enhance our Memory Support Areas.
Hosted by the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety, this year’s awards received 138 submissions, with 42 organisations named as finalists across various categories.
This recognition is the result of a big team effort and cross-functional collaboration across Bethanie, and highlights our ongoing commitment to safe, high-quality environments that support our people and the communities we serve.
