Temporary changes to Bethanie Living Well Centre services from Tuesday 24 March.
Bethanie is working to safeguard our community from COVID-19, or coronavirus.
It’s for this reason Bethanie is suspending services at our six Living Well Centres in and around Perth, and our three regional Living Well Centres located in Bunbury and Geraldton, from Tuesday, 24 March, 2020.
Christopher How, Chief Executive Officer of Bethanie said the temporary closures follow advice from the Federal Government and the Department of Health to minimise activities that involve social contact.
“Bethanie’s Living Well Centres promote community participation and are built on capacity to socialise and participate in community events,” Chris said.
“In line with Government directions to restrict social gatherings, to help reduce the spread of coronavirus, we need to suspend our Living Well Centre services.”
Bethanie’s Living Well Centre programs provide a valuable social and therapy wellbeing service, with a focus on quality of life.
“The health and well-being of our Bethanie community is paramount. We will be contacting our customers to discuss ways to support them while these programs are unavailable,” Chris said.
