Our CEO was interviewed by the ABC today about his thoughts on the State Government's proposed virtual triage system, designed to take some of the pressure off ambulance ramping from our ED's.
"We welcome the initiative and it's going to have a positive impact to people in our care," said Chris.
"For our residents in aged care
, we know that emergency departments are not great places, so anything we can do to reduce their time waiting in an ED is a good outcome."
