Bethanie Housing allocates homes to people through the Department of Housing and Works Joint Wait List.
To be considered, applicants are required to register with the Department of Housing and Works and to tick ‘yes’ to the option to be housed by a community housing provider.
Your first step is to visit housing.wa.gov.au and check your eligibility. Once there, you can access application forms.
At this stage we anticipate Bethanie Fremantle will be ready for occupation by September 2027.

The second method is based on income . This means rent is calculated as a percentage of your total household income before tax (your gross income). Generally, using this method, rent is capped at 30% of gross household income. If you get Commonwealth Rent Assistance (CRA) then your full CRA entitlement may be included in the rental calculation.
Bethanie will apply one of these methods according to individual applications. When a property becomes available at Bethanie, our friendly Housing Management Team will contact you to discuss what this means for you.

To apply for affordable housing, please complete the BHL Expression of Interest (EOI) and Housing Needs Assessment forms. These documents enable us to evaluate your requirements and ensure you are matched with a home and location that align with your lifestyle, family needs, and financial circumstances.
