Bethanie Dalyellup

More homes for more people

Bethanie Housing Ltd (BHL) is building 50 new social and affordable apartments for people aged 55 and over – bringing our total community housing homes at Dalyellup to 154.

This exciting new development will support even more older Western Australians on low to moderate incomes to live independently and remain connected to their local community. The three-story building will provide modern, accessible one and two-bedroom homes within an established vibrant Bethanie community, alongside an existing aged care home and 104 community housing apartments.

With construction activity commencing in mid-April 2026 and a scheduled completion date of mid-2027, the project is funded through the Australian and Western Australian Governments’ Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF).

Rent is calculated according to the type of housing offered and the applicable community housing policy requirements.

In some cases, rent is based on a discounted market rent for a similar property in the local area. In other cases, rent is assessed using household income and any eligible Commonwealth Rent Assistance, to help ensure housing remains affordable. If you are offered a property, Bethanie’s Housing Management Team will explain how the rent for that property has been assessed and answer any questions you may have.
