Learn about the new Support at Home program

If you’re helping a loved one stay independent at home, it’s important to understand how upcoming changes may affect the care they receive. From 1 November 2025, the new Support at Home program will replace Home Care Packages (HCPs) and Short-Term Restorative Care.

This new program is designed to make it easier for older Australians to access the right services, with more personalised and flexible support to help them live well at home for longer.
